Ben Affleck’s Daughter Violet Called A 'Crazy Karen' After Demanding COVID Mandates In Los Angeles
The daughter of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner went viral after she demanded "mask mandates" and an end to all "mask bans" in 2024.
Violet Affleck claims she contracted a post-viral condition in 2019 and is now seeking to confront the long COVID crisis with a call to reimpose mask mandates.
The 18-year-old — who is often seen wearing a mask — urged the LA County Board of Supervisors to strengthen COVID-era restrictions and measures in hospitals and government facilities during a meeting on Tuesday.

Violet claimed she saw "first-hand" that medicine doesn't always have answers for the consequences of even minor viruses, maintaining that long COVID is a devastating illness that takes away people's ability to work, move, see, "and even think."
"I demand mask availability, air filtration, and Far-UVC light in government facilities, including jails and detention centers, and mask mandates in county medical faculties," she said.
She continued: "You must expand the availability of high-quality free tests and treatment, and most importantly the county must oppose mask bans for any reason. They do not keep us safer — they make vulnerable members of our community less safe and make everyone less able to participate in Los Angeles together."
Social media didn't quite buy her message, including tech billionaire Elon Musk who tweeted how "the mind virus has officially taken over Hollywood" on Wednesday.
"He raised a crazy Karen," a second user said of Ben Affleck. "Poor thing. What a pathetic way of living," a third user poked. "While I do not agree with all the mandates she is requesting, I can tell you I have seen long Covid symptoms wreck many lives," a fourth defended.
Affleck and Garner, 52, divorced in 2015 after 10 years of marriage. Affleck, 51, is allegedly finalizing a very public divorce with singer and actress Jennifer Lopez.
