Pastor Banned From Alaska Airlines For Striking Wife On The Head After She Got A Seat Upgrade And He Did Not
A pastor reportedly hit his wife in the head while on a flight from Seattle, Washington, to Anchorage, Alaska, and is now banned from ever flying with the airline again.
On July 2, Roger Allan Holmberg, Sr. and his wife were traveling for ministry related purposes. During the flight, the wife of the pastor's seat was upgraded, while his was not. Holmberg did not take to this well.
According to 'ABC News,' a witness recalled Holmberg asking his spouse: "How the hell did you get the upgrade." His wife responded: "I'm a Gold Point member. Don't speak to me like that."

The witness claims the pastor gave his wife the middle finger before swinging in her direction, hitting her in the head.
Passengers reported the incident to airline police and upon further investigation, the wife revealed that the flight assault was not the first time he had got physical with her. She alleges that he had broken her finger in the past. Holmberg asserts that his wife is "disrespectful to him often and had anger issues."
While talking to authorities, the pastor shared that he was unhappy that "he wanted his wife to travel with him and sit next to him. Although he was upset, he stated he was not a violent person and did not intend to hurt his wife."
He alleged that the contact he made with her was simply an effort to "get her attention."
