President Joe Biden's recent statement sparked criticisms toward his wife, Jill Biden.

On Thursday, Biden attended a press conference amid the high-stakes NATO summit in Washington D.C. Financial Times journalist Felicia Schwartz asked him about the "straining job" as president and if he was still up for it if re-elected, the Mirror reported.

Biden admitted his "limits" in response. The 81-year-old politician explained his schedule and why he preferred starting his fundraiser at 8 o'clock so people could go home earlier, and the conversation led to his performance at the first presidential debate last month, which he said was a "stupid mistake."

"If you look at my schedule since I made that stupid mistake in the campaign, during the debate, I mean, my schedule has been full bore," he said.

"I've just got to pace myself a little more. For the next debate, I'm not going to be traveling through 15 time zones the week before. That's what it was about."

He said he loved his staff, but they were reportedly adding things to his schedules before noting, "I'm catching hell from my wife. Anyway, um, I'm sorry."

A clip of Biden saying the last line made the rounds on social media and several criticized Jill. Others even called her "villain" and the "puppet master."

"Joe Biden just said he's catching hell from his wife Jill Biden. Oh Joe we know Jill is mad at you right now," one wrote with multiple rolling on the floor laughing emojis.

Another said, "No one comes out of this s**t show looking more like a villain than Jill Biden."

"This isn't even funny anymore. What the f**k is wrong with these people? I have family who declined mentally... this is criminal. The f*****g guy can't even SPEAK!!! It's not F**k Joe Biden... it's truly F**k JILL Biden," a third person opined.

"Without the presidency, Jill Biden will be relegated to just living with and taking care of her failing husband. She doesn't want that life. She doesn't care about Joe. She cares about herself and herself only. She is truly evil and heartless," a fourth person claimed.

Several users also accused Jill of being an elderly abuser. This isn't the first time Jill received an intense backlash from social media users. Many alleged that Biden has dementia, but his wife is still pushing him to run for president because she's allegedly "power hungry" and wants the state dinners she enjoys being the first lady.

However, many were also quick to defend Jill and showed their love to the FLOTUS.

"She is amazing. So proud of our wonderful, intelligent, caring, strong #FLOTUS. We love you @JillBiden," one supporter wrote.

Another commented, "We love you @FLOTUS #BidenHarris2024"

"Thanks, Dr Jill Biden for your great support in Joe's administration. You will never tired (sic) of being an (sic) hero among women. You are our roll [sic] model. More grace and many thanks. GBU," another user commented.

"Yes!!!!!!! @DrBiden we still have more work to do! But...you need four more years to do it!" another commenter wrote.

"You and POTUS are such wonderful, caring individuals, and have yourself faced too many tragedies in your lives, yet still you work diligently to improve the lives of everyone possible. You are both an inspiration. Thank you for all you do," a different user remarked.

Dr. Mike Smith, an NHS GP from Hertfordshire, claimed after watching Biden and Trump's first presidential debate that the former "has cognitive impairment." Professor Robert Howard, an expert in old age psychiatry at University College London, added that the POTUS showed signs of Parkinson's disease.

Several netizens are also convinced that Biden is suffering from cognitive decline, with some alleging he has dementia and they blame Jill for allowing her husband to still run for president.
