Travis Kelce Dedicates Karaoke Contest Win To Taylor Swift: 'This Is For You'
Travis Kelce is trying his talents in the musical arena.
While in London, the Kansas City Chiefs player took the mic during the 2024 American Century Championship and entered a karaoke contest. The tight end belted out the words to the song "Here I Go Again" (1982) by Whitesnake.
After leaving no note unsung, Kelce, 34, wound up winning the karaoke tournament. In accepting his award, the athlete began to pretend to cry, moved by the momentous victory. Sharing some words with the room he said, according to 'Today,' "Taylor, this is for you! I love you guys."
The stage appearances by Kelce are wracking up, as the football player continues to attest that he does not really enjoy performing. When reflecting on his appearance during the Era's Tour on his podcast 'New Heights,' he shared, "It's very unlike me. I don't love going on stage."
However, he expressed that in the thrill of the moment he is able to release himself to the fun of the event. "It's such a fun, playful part of the show. It was the perfect area, or perfect time, for me to go up there — just be a ham and have some fun."
The Cleveland native has been openly dating pop-sensation Taylor Swift for nearly a year.
Swift was seen supporting Kelce during major games through the NFL season, cheering in the stands alongside friends Ice Spice and Blake Lively. She ran down to the field after the team won the Super Bowl LVIII.
