The Trump campaign confirmed that the ex-POTUS was "fine" and was treated at a medical facility following the incident, the Associated Press reported.

TMZ reported, citing an unnamed source, that Trump was not shot, but his ear was injured by glass from his teleprompter after it was struck by a bullet.

In footage shared by CNN of the incident, Trump stopped mid-speech on stage, grimaced and touched his ear right after the shots were fired.

He then got down to the floor as Secret Service agents immediately began covering and protecting him.

A few minutes after the gunshots stopped, Trump stood up with the help of his protection officers, who surrounded him and raised their hands to cover his head.

Before he was led off the stage by the Secret Service, Trump raised his fist and waved it while appearing to shout the word, "Fight." His supporters then stood and cheered for the presidential candidate.

The clip of Trump with his fist raised has since received at least 100 million views across multiple posts on X.
