Donald Trump was concerned about his shoes despite being injured during the shooting incident at his rally in Pennsylvania Saturday.

A video of the assassination attempt on Trump and its aftermath revealed the former president's first statements immediately after gunshots were fired at the event.

In the video, obtained by TMZ, Secret Service members could be seen helping Trump stand up after confirming that the shooter was "down."

But as the agents were preparing to rush him off the stage, Trump -- who had blood on his ear and face -- stopped them for a moment to put on his shoes.

"Let me get my shoes, let me get my shoes," Trump could be heard saying in the video.

Secret Service agents expressed concern about Trump's injury and told him they needed to "move to the car" immediately.

However, Trump continued to repeat, "Let me get my shoes on," until the agents eventually gave him time to put on his shoes.

The protection officers kept the Republican presidential candidate surrounded as he slipped on his footwear.

After he was done, Trump stopped the agents again in order to address his supporters.

"Wait, wait, wait," Trump told the Secret Service members before fist-pumping to the crowd.

He mouthed the word "fight" three times, causing the crowd to stand up and cheer.

Following this, Trump finally allowed the agents to usher him off the stage and into a waiting car.

Trump later said in a post on Truth Social that he "was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of [his] right ear."

The shooting also killed one rally attendee and left two others injured.

The Pennsylvania State Police identified the deceased victim as Corey Comperatore, 50, CBS News reported.

The two wounded victims, David Dutch, 57, and James Copenhaver, 74, were listed in stable condition as of Sunday.

The shooter was identified by the FBI as Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.

Crooks was shot and killed by a Secret Service sniper shortly after he began firing shots toward Trump using an AR-style rifle.

On Sunday, Trump was seen in public for the first time since the rally shooting.

Photos obtained by TMZ showed the former president with a white bandage on his right ear as he exited his jet.
