Michelle Obama Says Donald Trump Is The ‘Wrong President For Our Country’ Because He Can't 'Be Who We Need Him To Be'
In a resurfaced clip, former first lady Michelle Obama spoke about presumed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and his readiness to serve the American people.
Obama made an "honest and clear" announcement regarding the 45th president, claiming he had "more than enough time" to prove he can do the job but is "clearly in over his head."
The 60-year-old, who has reportedly admitted her disdain for politics, declared her concerns back in 2020 during the Democratic Convention.
"Donald Trump is the wrong president for our country," the mother of two said, according to 'CNN.' "... He cannot meet this moment. He simply cannot be who we need him to be for us. It is what it is."
"If you take one thing from my words tonight, it is this: If you think things cannot possibly get worse, trust me — they can and they will if we don't make a change in this election," she urged. "We have to vote for Joe Biden in numbers that cannot be ignored."
She continued: "They're closing down polling places in minority neighborhoods, they're purging voter roles, they're sending people out to intimidate voters, and they're lying about the security of our ballots. These tactics are not new... but this is not the time to withhold our votes in protest," the viral clip concluded.

"Pulling out the big guns," one TikTok user responded to the video. "Please run for president, please," a second chimed in. "Then please run for office. You will win and the USA will have your back," a third fan suggested — in addition to tens of thousands of users who shared the sentiments.
A new poll confirmed that Michelle Obama was the only Democrat to outshine both candidates, outperforming both Trump, 78, and Biden, as 50% of registered voters claimed they'd vote for Obama. The Chicago native repeatedly stated she will not pursue a role in the presidential election.
