Novak Djokovic Reveals Rare Kate Middleton Health Update After Chat At Wimbledon Final
Kate Middleton was "in good health" when she made an appearance at the Wimbledon final on Sunday amid her battle with cancer, according to Novak Djokovic.
The Serbian tennis superstar got the opportunity to talk to the Princess of Wales after the men's singles final, where Djokovic was defeated by defending champion Carlos Alcaraz of Spain.
Middleton presented the prizes to the athletes, including Djokovic, as part of her role as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.
According to the Wimbledon 2024 runner-up, Prince William's wife -- who has made just two public appearances so far this year -- seemed to be in good spirits amid her ongoing cancer treatment.

"Yes, it was, of course, a privilege to be in her presence again," Djokovic, 37, said during a post-match press conference, according to Mirror U.S.
Sharing details about their brief conversation, the tennis veteran said, "I've said to her that it is very nice to see her in good health. She seems to be in good health."
"That's obviously very positive news for everyone in this country but also for Wimbledon, for Championships to have Her Royal Highness here, of course with her family members. It's amazing," he added.

Djokovic noted that Middleton and her sister Pippa Matthews are avid tennis fans and players who "truly respect," "admire," and "understand" the sport.
"It's wonderful to have that kind of support from the royal family," he told reporters.
Middleton was greeted with huge applause and a standing ovation from the crowd when she was spotted entering the Royal Box above Centre Court to watch Sunday's Wimbledon final.
She was joined by her 9-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte and sister Pippa.
Princess Kate also had a proud mom moment following the match when her and Prince William's only daughter shook Alcaraz's hand.
In a photo posted by the official Wimbledon account on Instagram, Princess Charlotte, who donned an adorable polka-dot dress, grinned as she greeted the tennis champ.
Her mother could be seen smiling proudly next to her with a hand supportively placed on the 9-year-old's back.
The Princess of Wales later shared photos from her Wimbledon appearance in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
"Great to be back at @Wimbledon! There's nothing quite like The Championships," she wrote alongside photos of her and Princess Charlotte.
