Big Sean Blasts 'Haters' For Creating False 'Narratives' That He Dissed Kendrick Lamar In Freestyle
Big Sean is responding to critics who suspected he was dissing Kendrick Lamar after a recent freestyle.
The Detroit native delighted fans with new music this week, previewing several unreleased tracks and featuring on Eminem's "Tobey." However, it was his performance on 'On the Radar' that captured social media's attention.

On Tuesday, the platform released Big Sean's freestyle over Aaliyah's classic track, "If Your Girl Only Knew" (1996). His lyrics about someone using beef for attention led fans to speculate that he was dissing Lamar.
"... Looking for engagement like they got they knee bent / I gotta better things to do than find someone to beef with," Sean, 36, rapped.
Following his self-proclamation as the best, Big Sean took aim at his unnamed rival's involvement in activism.
"Difference is I'm an activist and you drink actavis and I'm back acclimated," he continued. "And Imma need my cut off top it's decapitated."
Additionally, speculation about a Lamar feud intensified when Big Sean, real name Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, teased his upcoming collaboration with Kanye West titled "Fighting Fires."
"I laugh at the fact they calling y'all the greatest, I'm set, it's on, we solidified / You n****s say you run your city but that s**t is gentrified," he rapped.

Big Sean used X, formerly called Twitter, to dispel the rumors he's beefing with the Compton rapper.
"Yall goin wit so many narratives," he stated. "Im talking to da haters who just keep finding something to point out they dont like bout me. Its not even worth explaining tho im a just focus on the music."
In a subsequent post, he continued, "So many people turned they back on me, so i appreciate the ones who stayed down."
