During a recent episode of Hart's show 'Hart to Heart,' he spoke with Judd Apatow about the time that he spent in a shared space with Segel. Hart, 45, recalled how Segel told him that in order to work together, he would have to invest in Final Draft. Final Draft is the industry standard scriptwriting software.
"I went out and bought Final Draft. I didn't even have a f*****g computer. I spent three hundred and something dollars on Final Draft, and I came home, and I was like, 'Jason, so I got it.' Like, 'What do I do now? Do I set it up on your computer?' "
According to Hart, Segel told him, "You gotta get your own computer," because the software only allows for a single-use download.

"I had to go buy a Dell and, without knowing, I just used to start writing. I didn't know what ... I was writing, but I was writing it, because Jason was doing it. And Seth [Rogen] was doing it. And they were doing it because you were doing it."
While it seemed as if money was flying out the door, Hart still looks at the memories fondly.
"That circle, that bond. I'll never forget it. I'll never forget what I got to the privy," the 'Ride Along' actor said. "It was a privilege to being a part of that because now that I look back, and look at all of us. Like, it worked."
