Billy Mays Honored With OxiClean At His Gravestone 15 Years After His Death In Viral Photo
Billy Mays was shown love and appreciation with OxiClean, but wait — there's more.
A fan visited the grave of the iconic TV pitchman and decided to skip out on the flowers, choosing instead to warmly place a bottle of OxiClean next to his tombstone, the cleaning product he was once the face of.
Mays' son, Billy Mays III, found the bottle upon visiting his grave, which described the late star as "Beloved Husband, Father, and Son" and "Pitchman."

"Lol just got to Pittsburgh and someone left Oxiclean at my dad's grave," his son Billy III wrote on Twitter, now known as X. The post has since gone viral, gaining over 3 million views in just 24 hours.
Speaking to the dedication of his product, one fan responded, "He's pitching from the afterlife. Guy just can't stop." In 2000, Mays shot an infomercial for the product and soon became a staple of the popular brand. "Billy Mays will forever be the OG," a second fan penned. "It looks like it's been there for a while, with the faded, split label. That's actually really sweet," a third concluded.
The fan-favorite OxiClean star died after suffering a heart attack at his home in Florida. An autopsy report stated that Mays the 50-year-old had cocaine in his system, ruling that the substance was a "contributory cause of death," per 'The New York Post.'
The news outlet reported that his family contested that finding, and later a medical examiner's report found that his drug use wasn't a contributing factor to his death, however, they didn't rule out the alleged drug use.
The Pittsburgh native — known for his enthusiastic sales pitching capabilities — honed his craft while traveling as a salesman, eventually landing his career on TV in the 1990's and establishing himself as a household name.
