Lil Rel Howery showed off his weight loss and debuted his much slimmer and fitter body over the weekend -- years after getting dissed by fellow comedian Katt Williams over his appearance.

The 44-year-old comedian and actor -- who has appeared in films such as "Get Out" and "Free Guy" -- took to Instagram Monday to create an "appreciation post" for himself and the hard work he's put in to lose weight through the years.

In the post, Howery shared photos of him looking toned in a purple shirt and dark pants at the premiere of his new movie, "Harold and the Purple Crayon," in Los Angeles Sunday.

Howery also included a clip of him shadowboxing while shirtless and holding a pair of dumbbells.

In the caption, he told his over 560,000 followers that he worked on himself physically, mentally, spiritually, professionally and personally in the past five years.

"I'm so proud of myself. This is the best I've ever felt and looked in my whole life. Honestly," he wrote.

Howery then seemingly shared the secret behind his weight loss, which included ditching alcohol, eating more healthy food and "working out almost every single day."

He encouraged his followers to avoid taking shortcuts and "really put the work in" if they want to shed pounds, seemingly referring to the popularity of weight loss drugs such as Ozempic and Wegovy.

Howery insisted that his slimmer figure was the result of "just straight hard work nothing else."

"Let me be an example of truly putting the work in," he wrote before asking fans to check out his new movie when it premieres on Aug. 2.

However, some were skeptical of Howery's comments about how he achieved his physical transformation and suggested that he may be another celebrity on weight loss medication.

"He's lying. He's not active. You have no muscle definition to show you've been actively working out, just frail and massless," one Instagram user commented.

Another commenter wrote: "You look hella good, won't Ozempic do it?"

"You ain't fooling nobody," another wrote.

But many others were more supportive and showered Howery with praise over the fruits of his hard work.

"You look fantastic man," Terry Crews commented on the comedian's post.

"Proud of you too Rel!! You did the (HARD) work," wrote actress and comedian Yvonne Orji.

Fellow comedian Ali Siddiq also left a touching comment for Howery, writing: "Now I'm going to say this, my brother I love the process and I love the preparation. I love the determination and you ain't gotta throw every punch right you ain't got to have your feet set right because you're not trying to be a boxer you just trying to stay fit. Way to go, my brother."

Some followers also suggested that Williams' previous diss helped motivate Howery to hit the gym and work on his revenge body.

"That Katt Williams interview had that man hit the gym," one comment read, while another said, "He took what Katt said and ran with it."

During a 2018 interview with Atlanta's V-103, Williams claimed that Lil Rel couldn't be a star because he was "ugly."

"They gon' let you be a star, Lil Rel, but you ugly," the comedian said. "And white people don't believe in ugly stars. They think you have to be somebody that women want to sleep with and men want to be. But because we Black, they say, 'Oh you don't even deserve that.'"

At the time, Howery responded to Williams' comments by telling TwoBeezTV he felt "bad" for his fellow comedian.

"There's a reason why most of us haven't given him jobs. He's so talented, so funny, but I don't know what he's really angry about," Howery said.

He noted that about five years prior, Williams had given him some words of encouragement, saying, "You going to be a star one day. Don't let them burn you out."

"He probably don't even remember that," Howery added. "It's just sad more than anything. Right now, it's a lot of unity in the gang. Some of these bitter guys gotta get out."
