Christina Sandera, Clint Eastwood's Longtime Girlfriend, Cause Of Death Revealed
Clint Eastwood announced on July 19 that his longtime partner, Christina Sandera, died the day before.
Now, her cause of death has been revealed.
On Tuesday, a spokesperson from the Monterey County Health Department informed the 'New York Post' Sandera died from a heart attack.
Her death certificate cited cardiac arrhythmia, a condition involving irregularities in heart rhythm, as the primary cause of death. Additionally, atherosclerotic coronary artery disease was noted as a contributing factor.
The Oscar Award winning actor expressed his sorrow in a statement to 'The Hollywood Reporter,' describing Sandera as "a lovely, caring woman" whom he would miss greatly.

Eastwood, 94, and Sandera began their relationship in 2014. They were spotted grocery shopping together in June of that year, with images published by the 'Daily Mail.'
Sandera frequently accompanied Eastwood to various events. They made their debut as a couple at the 2015 Academy Awards, where Eastwood's film 'American Sniper' was nominated for six Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
In 2016, they were seen together at a screening of Eastwood's movie 'Sully' held at the Directors Guild of America. The following year, they attended the Cannes Film Festival together.
Sandera, who was also a philanthropist, was also present at the premiere of Eastwood's 2018 film 'The Mule,' where she joined Eastwood's extended family, including three of his children, his granddaughter, and his first wife, Maggie Johnson.
In November 2019, the pair walked their last red carpet together at AFI Fest in Hollywood.
