Torrei Hart Recalls Being 'Dragged' Out Of Court During Kevin Hart Divorce: 'I Did Not Get What I Deserved'
Torrei Hart is sharing more details about her divorce from Kevin Hart.
In a 2023 'No Jumper' interview, Torrei described how she was once dragged out of court during her divorce from the 'Ride Along' actor.
"You know, they tried to paint me a certain way — his attorney... And I was just like, 'Yo, like I'm not about to sit here and fight like this,' " she said. "I'm thankful I'm not arrested 'cause in the courtroom, I was about to ... wring [his lawyer's] neck."
She was seemingly referring to Kevin's lawyer, Debra Opri, who has also represented Michael Jackson and James Brown. In a quote listed on the lawyer's website, Kevin blushed about how much he "loves" Opri as she "bulldozes right through them. She's winning everything for me."
"I jumped up, like they had to drag me out. So, I was like, 'Yeah, I'm good, like, God gon' get me what I'm supposed to have...' I'm not tripping on anything, and you see I'm not trippin'," Torrei, 46, continued.

In the resurfaced clip, Torrei also shut down rumors she left their marriage with a boatload of money.
"Show me the receipts," she said. "I would love to have 20-something-thousand a month. Please! I would love that. Let me tell you what I got in my divorce 10 years ago, uh, $150k. That's it. That was it. That money was gone the first year. Yeah, so where they're getting this from I have no clue. But no, I hustle. I'm out here doing it."
The Philadelphia native said she "did not get what she deserved" and promises to "speak for women who I know were with their man shooting in the gym."
'Atlanta Black Star' reported how she asked Kevin, 45, to stop telling jokes about her after their separation.

"I was like 'Kev, like, the last Netflix special ... like, before I was getting paid off them jokes.' I'm like, 'None of that money's coming to me anymore. So, yes, stop putting me in the jokes, because I just don't like it anymore.' That's when he started realizing, like, 'Oh yeah. OK. You're right. So that's when a turning point happened for us and when I got out of the material more, it [their relationship] became better."
Kevin and Torrei first met in 2001 in Philadelphia while attending community college. They both shared a passion for comedy, 'Hot New Hip Hop' reports.
After their engagement eight months later, they married in 2003 in a private ceremony. Two years later, they welcomed their first child, a daughter Heaven Leigh, and a son, Hendrix, three years later.
Eight years of marriage passed when the couple filed for divorce. Torrei later claimed to 'PEOPLE' Kevin cheated on her in 2009 with his now-wife Eniko Parrish, something Eniko vehemently denied.
