The video, captured by a door camera and posted by TikTok account @camera.street8 last month, went viral on TikTok.

"I need to talk to you," the elderly woman said after the Black woman asked "How are you?" on the camera's intercom.

The woman can be heard threatening to call authorities when the Black woman said she wasn't at home.

"Well then I'm gonna have to call the police to come over here because you were told not to put your air conditioner on and your air conditioner's running and it's going in the unit downstairs," the neighbor claimed.

The Black woman told the "Karen" that the appliance wasn't supposed to be on and how she spoke with her landlord about it.

The neighbor seemingly convinced the Black woman her A/C was on, suggesting it could be on an automatic setting. She tells the woman on her porch she will come home in "30 minutes" to turn it off.

"What Being a Black women [sp] living in a retired neighborhood looks like...calling the police on me for having my AC on," read the text on the video. The clip has garnered thousands of comments supporting the Black woman and nearly four million views.

It's unclear whether the Black woman actually turned off her A/C unit and what happened afterward.
