A Georgia restaurant worker claims his manager chased him from the establishment and threatened his life at gunpoint Saturday.

Employee Quenton Collins claims the harrowing incident occurred because he forgot to take the trash out before his shift ended at Chipotle.

"It's like... you write a person up for forgetting to do that," he stated, per 'WSBTV.' Now, East Point police are seeking to track down the gun-toting manager.

The 29-year-old admitted that he did in fact forget to take the trash out — however, the altercation that followed isn't written in the handbook. "You don't chase them down and pull a gun. That's other world," he stated, per the news outlet.

According to the employee, it was only his first week at the fast food chain offering Mexican fare on Camp Creek Parkway. Before Saturday, the new hire claims he had no run-ins with the hotheaded manager.

Collins detailed clocking out in a hurry in order to catch his MARTA bus home before his manager began screaming at him about the trash not being taken out. However, Collins left to catch public transportation.

That's when his manager reportedly chased him and threatened him at gunpoint. The employee claimed his manager became distracted by traffic and a nearby cop car, and managed to get away. "I think that was wrong. It was wrong," a bystander outside the restaurant claimed, per the news outlet.

A traumatized Collins hasn't returned to the Mexican grill restaurant and claims that the jarring incident has affected his mental health. "They might have to give me some medicine to help me sleep because every time I close my eyes, I'm in that moment where, I'm staring [at] death. I'm staring at death," he explained.

A spokesperson for Chipotle, who offered Collins mental health services, provided an update to Channel 2 Action News.

"We are aware of the incident that occurred last week at our restaurant in East Point, GA and grateful no team members or guests were harmed by this senseless act," the statement began. "The individual in question has been terminated, and we are working closely with law enforcement on the matter."
