PnB Rock, real name Rakim Hasheem Allen, was killed during a robbery at Roscoe's House of Chicken 'N Waffles in Los Angeles in 2022. He was 30.

Commissioner Sharonda P. Bradford announced that despite receiving various services while in custody, the alleged shooter was found incompetent to stand trial, the outlet confirmed. The teenager's name has been withheld.

"The recommendation is that the previous orders remain. The proceedings remain suspended, remediation continues," Commissioner Bradford stated.

According to 'Complex,' police claim that the 17-year-old suspect entered the restaurant after being dropped off before shooting PnB Rock in the chest and back. The boy's father, Freddie Trone, and stepmother, Shauntel Trone, face charges of accessory after the fact in connection to the murder.

Freddie Trone plead not guilty to murder, robbery, and conspiracy. Shauntel Trone, on the other hand, has accepted a plea deal.

Another individual, Tremont Jones, plead not guilty to charges of robbery, conspiracy, and being a felon in possession of a firearm, 'Complex' reports.

Jones is accused of giving PnB Rock's location to Trone the day of the shooting.
