This reported return would not cement her as a central cast member in the series. The inside source told the outlet that, if Govan is in fact to return, it would only be an appearance on the show rather than a recurring role.
Govan, 39, quickly became a fan favorite. She was a member of the debut cast of the series 'Basketball Wives LA.' She joined the show in 2011, but she only remained on the series for two seasons.
The personality had been married to NBA baller Matthew Barnes for three years. They got married in 2013 and had twin boys, now 15 years old. The two separated in 2016 in a public divorce.
Govan married NBA coach and alum Derek Fisher in 2021.
In December 2023, Govan spoke out against Barnes' new reality show.
Prior to the premiere of WeTV's 'The Barnes Brunch,' the mother of 2 expressed that unfinished agreements in areas including child support had her fearing that these more private elements would make their way onto the show.

According to 'Essence,' Govan said "I am especially concerned that if Matt gets angry, that some of this will be displayed on the reality show 'The Barnes Bunch' that he has been filming for a season, and which is filming again now. I had originally only agreed to our boys being included only on a limited basis, but Matt went beyond our agreement."
She continued: "I therefore wish to have a written order that requires our agreement to have the boys involved in a reality show, whether Matt's or one that I am potentially going to be filming."
