Robert Pattinson Kristen Stewart Split: His Mischa Barton Friendship Revealed Amid Michelle Rodriguez Dating Rumors
Robert Pattinson is reportedly hanging out with actress Mischa Barton as the Michelle Rodriguez dating rumors continue.
The O.C. actress is reportedly helping Pattinson nurse his emotional wounds over the May split with Kristen Stewart, E! News reported. An insider slipped that Barton, who recently split from her boyfriend Sebastian Knapp, is another friend who has been added to Pattinson's growing list of friends that are providing him emotional support.
"He is very low-key and just wants to be with friends right now," the insider explained of their friendship. "He is extremely cool and laid-back and hasn't been overly flirting with lots of girls or anything. He just wants to enjoy himself and be with good people."

The insider said Pattinson is just taking "each day as it comes and having fun" after a being in four-year relationship with his Twilight co-star Stewart.
Barton's friendship with the actor revealed after photos surfaced of Pattinson hanging out with Fast & Furious actress Michelle Rodriguez. The pair was first spotted together at the Cheateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles. Last week, eyewitnesses revealed another sighting on Aug. 10 at the Sundance Institute's smaller film festival in Los Angeles called Next Weekend.
Pattinson has also been romantically linked to Australian blonde singer Sia Furler, Katy Perry, Riley Keough and Caitlin Cronenberg. He ended his relationship with Stewart around the time of his 27th birthday.
