Reports say one of the men arrested was a 19-year-old who allegedly pledged his allegiance to the infamous terrorist organization ISIS, according to Vienna State Police Director Franz Ruf and Police Chief Gerhard Purstl.

The suspicious duo allegedly undertook "specific preparatory actions for a terrorist attack," as the aforementioned 19-year-old man was specifically targeting Swift's concerts.

"According to the current status of the investigation, the two suspects became radicalized via the internet," Ruf stated per the 'BBC.' Ruf claimed the teenage suspect made "an oath of allegiance" to the Islamic State at the beginning of July, per the news outlet.

A large police investigation took place in Ternitz where the suspect lived, as a number of homes in that area were evacuated and searched, including his home. Director Ruf confirmed that chemical substances were found and were being examined by a bomb squad.

Police have confirmed the "terror alert level" in Austria remains high and that stationary video surveillance will be active, in addition to airspace monitoring. "Extensive search measures" will be implemented, officials added, including personal searches.

The record-breaking Eras Tour is set to continue, as the 34-year-old will perform in Vienna this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Shows are expected to attract a whopping 65,000 people a day, in addition to 22,000 outside the venue, per 'BBC.'

Pürstl warned that with a step-up in security checks in and around concerts, Swifties should arrive early and expect ongoing delays as they enter the arena.

Investigations are continuing to unfold in the ongoing case.
