Ron Hale, best known for his role on ABC's soap opera 'General Hospital,' has died.
He was 78.
According to the 'Daily Mail,' the actor passed away on August 27 at his South Carolina home. His family confirmed his death on Wednesday, October 2.
"My dear friend Ron Hale has passed away. Ron was an amazing talent and an even better friend," wrote fellow 'General Hospital' star Jon Lindstrom. "I will miss you."
