Sofia Vergara Wedding With Fiance Nick Loeb, 'I Want A Small One' She Says [VIDEO]
Sofia Vergara revealed her wedding plans during a pre-Primetime Emmy event on Wednesday.
She shared the news with her Extra! host Mario Lopez when he interviewed the cast of Modern Family last week. When he inquired about her year-long engagement to fiance Nick Loeb, Vergara slipped that she plans to have a very intimate ceremony.
"Either I do something really small or something even better than that," she told Lopez.
The actress said because she had a lavish party with over 100 family and friends for her 40th birthday last year, she does not feel the need to plan a huge wedding.
"I did such a big party for my 40th birthday, that now either I do something really small or something even better than that," said the Machete Kills star. "I'm giving myself time. Maybe I'll just do something really tiny, like my son and my mother and that's it."
Vergara's son, Manolo Gonzalez, filmed her 40th birthday celebration with family and friends in Mexico in July 2012. The college student was unaware that Loeb planned to propose to the his mother when he documented her birthday trip for his YouTube video series. Loeb proposed at the top of a pyramid at the Chichen Itza ruins in Yucatan, Mexico.

"Once they were to the top of the pyramid, my mother's longtime boyfriend, Nick, proposed to her," Gonzalez explained in the video.
When her mother and Loeb went to the top of the ruins and returned, he asked his mother to show off the ring on-camera. In the video, Vergara shows off the ring and smiles.

Vergara later gushed over her engagement ring in VOGUE's April 2013 issue.
"I love it, because it's big enough," she told Vogue. "If it had been bigger, I couldn't have worn it every day. And if it had been smaller, I wouldn't have liked it," she revealed.

Vergara will attend the 65th annual Primtetime Emmys in September. Three of her Modern Family co-stars --Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ed O'Neill and Ty Burrell -- are nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. Her next film, Machete Kills, will arrive in theaters the following month.
The 65th Primetime Emmys 2013 airs live on Sunday, Sept. 22 on CBS. Machete Kills will hit the big screens nationwide on Oct. 11.
