'X-Men: Days of Future Past' News: Filming In Montreal Finishes [PHOTOS]
The cast of X-Men: Days of Future Past completed filming the upcoming superhero flick on Saturday, Aug. 17.
"Just wrapped! Eternal thx 2 our amazing Montreal crew! C u at the party," the movie's director Bryan Singer tweeted, along with a photo of himself and some stars tied to the successful franchise.
In the photo Hugh Jackman, who plays Wolverine, stands with one of the film's screenwriters Simon Kinberg and the producer of The Wolverine Hutch Parker.
Days Of Future Past Enemy Revealed
Jackman also uploaded his own photo on Instagram to recognize the movie's completion. In the photo he wears sunglasses, blue shorts, and a white T-shirt as he relaxes in a hammock. He captioned the shot, "This is how Wolverine feels near the end of the shoot."
Over the past few months the movie's director posted on Twitter several teasers for the upcoming film. His latest was a movie still of Michael Fassbender posted on Aug. 16. The actor, who plays Magneto in the upcoming film, wears a hat and sunglasses in the shot.
"Loving my monitors today. #MichaelFassbender #XMen #DaysOfFuturePast #Secondtolastdayofprincipalphotography," Singer captioned the photo.
On the same day the director also uploaded a photo of a vest, mask and wings in what appears to be a museum setting. He captioned the photo, "artifacts."

In July he uploaded a Twitter photo of Mystique, whose blue leg is seen kicking a man in the throat. The strength of her kick is expressed through the man's pained look. Mystique is played by Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence.
Earlier that month Singer tweeted a photo of several cast members filming at a location he called "the countryside." Jackman and the Beast, played by Nicholas Hoult, are visible in the shot. The two superheroes were also photographed together in another scene revealed in May. Singer uploaded that photo on Twitter with the caption, "Welcome to 1973."
X-Men: Days of Future Past comes to U.S. theaters on May 23, 2014.
