West got into a scuffle with a paparazzi photographer outside of the LAX airport on July 19. The photographer, who goes by the name Dano, repeatedly questioned the Watch The Throne rapper desite his request. In a video obtained by TMZ, West asked Dano before he accosted him if he was questioning him in an attempt to sue him for $250,000.

West got so upset at Dano's persistence that he grabbed him and put him in a headlock in front of a crowd of photographers. The rapper ried to take the camera out of Dano's hand, and the confrontation caused the photographer to fall down. After Dano fell to the ground, West exited the scene before paramedics and local authorities arrived.

Allred's announcement is a surprise -- it was reported last month that West will not face charges for the attack.

TMZ reported on July 25 that West will not face a felony for attempted robbery because Los Angeles robbery detectives could not find proof he tried to steal the camera. Sources told the gossip site that the attempted robbery file would be "rejected within days." The victim was reportedly considering pursuing a misdemeanor for criminal battery prosecution.
