Eminem Joins Instagram Before New Album 2013, 'Survival' Rapper Posts One PHOTO
Eminem joined Instagram and posted his first crude photo on Thursday. In the picture, the rapper is seen giving the middle finger.
Along with the photo, he included a link to his website, which also has the same image as the backdrop. The website, however, doesn't contain any other content.
The Detroit native already has close to 40,000 fans following him on the social network.
Most Anticipated Albums Of 2013
With his entrance into the Instagram world, the rapper could perhaps be trying to get his fans more hyped for his upcoming fall album. Eminem released the record's first single, Survival, earlier in August via an online trailer for Activision's game Call of Duty: Ghosts.
"Wasn't ready to be a millionaire, I was ill-prepared. I was prepared to be ill though, the skill was there," he raps on the song. "I'm f---ing back again with another anthem, why stop when it doesn't have to end? It ain't over till I say it's over. Enough when I say enough."
Eminem G-Shock Concert In NYC, Exclusive
Slim Shady's forthcoming album will be his first release since 2010's Recovery. The album, which went multi-platinum and rose to No. 1 on Billboard, features the hits Not Afraid and the Rihanna collaboration Love The Way You Lie. According to those in his circle, Eminem's upcoming album will be different than his previous ones. Alchemist, Eminem's DJ, told MTV in June that the album is "clearly going to further territories."
In the same month, former D12 member Mr. Porter was asked to describe what the album will sound like on Twitter and he replied, "Have not heard anything like it."
