Taylor Swift Harry Styles Breakup: He's Waiting for Her to Write a Song About Him
One Direction singer Harry Styles reported talked about his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift saying it is only a matter of when his ex will write a song about him, not if.
Styles, 19, addressed the possibility of Swift writing a ballad about him and their relationship in a recent interview, according to Celebrity-Gossip.net. Swift, 23, has reportedly written about her ex-boyfriends so in the past and is known for her breakup songs such as I Knew You Were Trouble and We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together. She admitted in the past about the fact that she draws inspiration for her music from her personal relationships. She told Us Weekly in 2010, "I've always lived by the theory that if a guy doesn't want me to write a bad song about him, he won't do bad things. And he shouldn't, you know?"
Styles is waiting for his turn to be featured in a Swift song.
"It would be hypocritical for me to say she couldn't do it because everybody writes songs based on personal experience," the Best Song Ever singer said. "I can't say I'd have dated someone less famous to avoid it."
Taylor Swift Forgives Harry Styles Eight Months Later?
Styles and Swift broke up in early January after a couple months of dating. During their time together they were seen on a ski trip, celebrating Swift's birthday in England, at a tattoo parlor in Los Angles and were caught on film kissing in Times Squares on New Year's Eve.
Swift said in June of this year that she is already working on her next record following the 2012 release of Red. The singer also revealed in March that she wrote I Knew You Were Trouble with Styles in mind. While explaining her performance of the song at the BRIT Awards in February, where Styles was watching from backstage, she talked about channeling her inner anger on stage at the awards ceremony.
"It's not hard to access that emotion when the person the song is about is standing by the side of the stage watching," she said.
