Danity Kane reunited Sunday August 25 at MTV's Pre-Video Music Awards show.

The group, formerly a five-girl group came together as four- Dawn Richards, Shannon Bex, Andrea Fimbres and Aubrey O'Day.

The girls looked happy and healthy since being together last in 2009 on MTV's Making The Band reality show. DK announced that they have a new single, entitled "Rage."

"We're back," the group said on the red carpet.

Danity Kane fell apart in 2009 after the rapper/Bad Boy executive kicked O'Day out the group following a few on-camera fights on the reality show and supposedly favoring Richard, whom he was molding for a solo career.

They announced Sunday that they will moving on without Diddy.

In a MySpace post at the time, O'Day blogged about her departure from Danity Kane, wishing nothing but the best for the girls.

"I will forever be blessed to have had that experience," O'Day wrote. "Each one of those girls is a talent to be reckoned with ... and beyond pure talent, which I hands down experienced on a daily basis from each girl, each girl really did want to be a role model and change the world in their own little way."

The big announcement was made on the group's official website and Aubrey O'Day's Instagram account late Saturday night.

"DANITY KANE is officially back! @danitykane #vmas2013 #Rage," O'Day wrote, along with a photo of the girls.

DK's self-titled album (released in 2006) reached platinum status, while their sophomore release Welcome to the Dollhouse (2008) reached gold.
