Thirty Seconds to Mars, Video Music Awards 2013 Best Rock Video for 'Up in the Air' [VIDEO]
Actor Jared Leto's band Thirty Second to Mars has won the moon man for Best Rock Video at the 2013 Video Music Awards, the award was presented at the VMAs pre-show.
The Los Angeles based is led by Jared (vocals) and also includes Shannon Leto (drums) and Tomo Milicevic (lead guitars, keyboards).

The video has been produced, directed, and edited by Jared. Emma Ludbrook and Jett Stieger, respectively, executive produced and line produced. David Devlin was the director of photography, while Floyd Albee contributed to production designs.
The video features gymnasts McKayla Maroney and Jordyn Wieber of the Fierce Five. Dita Von Teese and Ashley Smith also give cameos. Shots of wild creatures like a zebra, lion, wolf, and a snake, add to visual appeal of the video.
The video was officially released on April 19, 2013.
The song is from the band's fourth studio album, Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams.
The video opens with a cautionary statement:
"Warning: This video might cause viewers with photo sensitive epilepsy and other similar types of conditions to potentiaaly experience seizures. Viewer discretion is advised."
Seems like the risk paid off.
