Today marks exactly ten years since the death of Lisa Lopes, aka "Left Eye" of the infamous hip-hop group TLC. Lisa Lopes died on April 25, 2002, in a tragic car crash in Honduras. The Grammy-winning artist had planned on setting up a nonprofit educational and medical center in Honduras, which she had called her second home, according to the Lisa Lopes Foundation.

A track featuring the late singer has just been released to mark the 10th year anniversary of her death. The tune, titled "Fantasies", features the artist rapping along with rapper Bootleg. It is available as a charity download to honor Lopes and all profits will go to the Lisa Lopes Foundation, which was established by her family after her tragic death to continue the charitable work in Honduras.

TLC bandmates Tionne Watkins, aka "T-boz", and Rozonda Thomas, better known as "Chilli" say they are producing a new biopic for a VH1 TV special, according to SFGate. The two wrote a statement to AllHipHop.com, stating that they are still grieving the lost of their "sister".

The statement reads: "The word anniversary means a celebration. For us her death will never be a celebration, it's still something that hurts."

They continued, "Lisa is our sister. You never get over losing a family member. We love her and we miss her and that isn't ever going to change... But this project (biopic) is truly a dream come true for us."

The band is also planning to reunite for the first time in 10 years - in a national concert tour this year, featuring the late Lisa Lopes, reports TMZ. Watkins and Thomas are reportedly in the planning stages of a reunion later this year with five major cities already being booked. The plan is to incorporate the late singer in the shows by projecting her image and vocals on the big screen in the live performances.
