Justin Timberlake briefly reunited with his NSYNC band mates to perform Bye Bye Bye at the 2013 MTV VMAs on Sunday night.

Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick performed for exactly two minutes and ten seconds, which left fans wanting more. With NSYNC trending on Twitter, fans began to speculate if the band would release an album and tour -- following in the footsteps of reunited boy bands like New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys and 98 Degrees.

Well, Fatone‘s dad, Joseph Fatone, Sr., decided to set the record straight.

"People are hyping this [performance] as to mean like next month they’ll go on tour, but there’s been no talk of it," he told Radar. "I don't think they should pump this up as much as they are doing. It's not like they're going on tour."

Days before the show aired, MTV announced that Timberlake would deliver a "not-to-miss epic performance," during Sunday's broadcast. It was widely speculated that there will be an *NSYNC reunion on stage.
