Austin Mahone Dating Taylor Swift?: 'She's Got It All,' Says 'What About Love' Singer [VIDEO]
MTV's Artist to Watch Austin Mahone couldn't stop gushing about Taylor Swift. The 17-year-old singer opened up to EnStars about the We're Never Getting Back Together Singer.
"She's got it all," he said the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday. "She's awesome!"
Although it sounds like he's crushing, Mahone and Swift are just friends. He opened for the 23-year-old country superstar on the North American leg of the Red Tour.
Mahone took home the "Artist to Watch" award at the 2013 VMAs following a performance of his single What About Love.
"It feels amazing," he told The Hollywood Reporter after his win. "It's the best day ever. It was an honor to even be on the carpet, but I performed, and I won the award, so I couldn't have asked for a better night."
This was Mahone's first trip to the MTV VMAs.
“I’m really excited because it is my first VMA appearance and performance, and it’s going to be really good,” Mahone told THR two days before the big show.
He continued: “I’m doing a lot of dance rehearsals. I am getting my wardrobe together. I’m training my voice, getting my singing lessons going and getting better as a dancer and a performer every day. I'm going to nail it.”
