Sean Lowe Chelsea Manning Transgender Soldier Tweet: 'The Bachelor' Season 17 Star's Comment Sparks Controversy
Sean Lowe raised eyebrows when he sent a tweet that made many wonder if he is homophobic.
The former Bachelor season 17 star shared a link on Twitter for CNN's story on Bradley Manning, the WikiLeaks informant who announced he will live his life as a woman the day after he was sentenced to 35 years in prison.
Lowe reportedly wrote in a Aug. 22 tweet, "The guys in prison should love this.."
The controversial tweet has since been deleted. Lowe allegedly wrote the tweet the same day Manning announced on NBC's TODAY that he will serve his prison term as a woman.
