Justin Bieber was attacked but an unidentified male when he was walking to the dance floor at Uniun Nightclub Aug. 30 in Toronto, a partygoer confirmed to E! News.

"He was in the VIP area with his friends for about an hour or so. He was really low-key, seemed to be enjoying himself. Then, he went down to the dance floor to chat with some pretty girls...when he made his way to the other side of the room he was attacked," Robbie Stilez, who was at the club that night, told the news outlet.

Stilez said it was difficult to see exactly what was going on, but he did see Bieber's friends holding him back before the club's bouncers picked up the Twerk singer's attacker and kicked the guy out of the club.

It also appeared that the attacker took with him one of Bieber's gold chains. When the 19-year-old singer left the club with his entourage following the fight, a member of his security team reportedly approached the club's bouncers and told them "a guy in a red shirt stole one of Bieber's gold chains he was wearing."

They tried to track down the attacker, but to no avail. Bieber and his crew left shortly after.

Bieber's rep had no comment and the singer made no mention of the incident on Instagram or Twitter.

TMZ reported that the scuffle took place around 3 a.m. on Friday night. The attacker reportedly tried to tackle Bieber to the ground and Bieber, trying to defend himself, was seen kicking the guy. Police were not called to the scene, the report noted.
