After landing the groundbreaking role of the shy, college alumni Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of E.L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey, many fans are surely wondering whether or not Dakota Johnson has a real-life boyfriend.
While Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported that "there's not a lot of information available online" due to the fact that she's not yet a huge star, she did admit in 2010 that she was living in an apartment with a "musician boyfriend of four years," who she had been together with since high school.
The actress was seen at an event in Madrid this past March with a musician, but the gossip site wasn't certain if it was the same significant other mentioned in the 2010 interview.
The website also stated that Johnson had been linked to actor Jake Gyllenhaal in 2012, but her rep has denied the rumors.
Nonetheless, many loyalists are surely wondering whether she and her newly casted co-star Charlie Hunnam will become an item once the hot and heavy filming begins between the two.
