Christina Aguilera Weight Loss, 'Maxim' Cover Girl Says She Doesn't Work Out Often
While she showed off her slimmed-down figure earlier this year, Christina Aguilera doesn't hit the gym as often as people would presume.
"If I can squeeze in a workout, great. If not, that's ok, too," she told The Associated Press on Thursday.
The singer also pointed out that her 5-year-old son, Max, helps her with her fitness.

"Running around with him all day is pretty good exercise," she said.
The 32-year-old first debuted her slimmer figure on Twitter in May when she posted a photo in a black bra and skirt. She captioned the image, "On set shooting music video with @Alexoficial for #HoyTengoGanasDeTi." She also flaunted her new bod when she performed at the Billboard Music Awards that same month. The singer wore a black dress as she hit the stage with Pitbull for their song Feel This Moment.
Celebrity Slim Downs That Will Shock You
The blonde star, whose career began 15 years ago, has been criticized for her weight fluctuation in the past. But, she's made it clear that people's comments don't affect her confidence.
"I've been through my highs; I've been through my lows. Being too thin, being bigger. I've been criticized for being on both sides of the scale. It's a noise I block out. I love my body. My boyfriend loves my body. My son is healthy and happy, so that's all that matters to me," she told Marie Claire in January 2012.
Aguilera is also getting ready for her return to season 5 of The Voice. During season 4 of the singing competition, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine were joined by new judges Shakira and Usher. Aguilera praised Shakira, who filled in for her on the show, as well as CeeLo Green's substitute, Usher.
"Thank god for Shakira, she did a beautiful job, she has sweet, lovely energy. And Usher came and stepped up with a lot of creative stuff," she said in July during the NBC sessions at the Television Critics Association Summer Tour in California.
The new season of The Voice premieres on Sept. 23 at 8 p.m. ET with host Carson Daly.
