Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez will collaborate on a new track to be featured on J.Lo's next album due out early 2014, E! News confirmed Sunday.

No details have been revealed about the type of song the singers will create together.

The pair reportedly finalized the plan after Lopez came on stage as Swift's last guest performer on her final Red tour show in Los Angeles on Aug. 25. The duo sang Jenny From the Block together.

"Sang Jenny From the Block with @JLo tonight at Staples Center. STILL FANGIRLING OUT ABOUT IT," Swift tweeted after the show. The American Idol judge replied, "Thank you for inviting my family to be a part of yours @taylorswift13!!! "

Lopez also uploaded onto Instagram a photo of her posing with Swift backstage. The mother-of-two has not released an album since 2011's Love?

Swift recently shared behind-the-scenes footage from her concert at Staples Center, which also features Lopez thanking the I Knew You Were Trouble singer.

"To create a beautiful moment, thank you, Taylor, for being so gracious and beautiful and loving me enough to have me be here tonight," Casper Smart's girlfriend said, while huddled in a circle with her arm wrapped around Swift. "I feel very blessed to be able to share the stage with you, and I just hope that everybody has the best show that they could ever have."

The video also features footage of Swift's other guest singers: Cher Lloyd, Tegan and Sara, Ellie Goulding and Sara Bareilles.

Swift was honored by Staples Center on Aug. 20 for selling out a record-breaking 11 shows. She received a commemorative plaque and an inscribed silver wrist cuff. The 23-year-old admitted in June that she was already working on her next album.
