'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Season 5 Reunion Show Spoiler: 'Better Than Last Season' Says Source
Juicy details from the set of the upcoming reunion show for season 5 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey were revealed by an insider on Monday.
A show insider said the reunion show, which filmed on Wednesday, Sept. 6, is "a lot better than last season's because everyone ended off on a good note."
Teresa Giduice's story lines were the main focal point, said the source. At times during filming, the legally troubled reality star appeared irritated by her co-stars' reactions when certain issues were revisited. The only co-star who didn't get into it with Giudice was Jacqueline Laurita.
"It obviously revolved a lot around Teresa, but she seemed to handle everything fine," the source told Reality Tea. "Teresa was getting annoyed with a few things. If Teresa was talking to Melissa, Kathy would always back Melissa up. If she was talking to Caroline, Melissa would get involved."
"The only person who stayed out of the drama was Jacqueline. Jacqueline never got in the middle of any of the arguments that involved Teresa," the source added.

Surprisingly it wasn't Melissa Gorga that annoyed Giudice most but Caroline Manzo. Manzo was so confrontational, she made Giduice get quiet at times, said the insider.
"Teresa's biggest problem was Caroline calling Teresa superficial," revealed the insider. "Teresa and Caroline both were getting loud when it came to this topic. Caroline especially got very loud with Teresa and Jacqueline refused to get involved with their drama remaining quiet."
When asked if Giudice's recent legal troubles was addressed during the taping, the source said, "Teresa didn't get into any detail with it."

Overall, the taping went without a hitch despite the many arguments among the co-stars during the 15-hour taping.
"The ladies argued but nothing got to an extreme level. In the end, everyone was fine," said the insider, who added that Giudice and Gorga were a lot less combative than previous seasons and explained why.
"As for Teresa and Melissa, they will never hang out socially just the two of them. They will never really like each other, but they both will make sure their children get to see each other because that's what's important to them," the source explained. "Teresa is over the fighting and wants nothing to do with it anymore. She refuses to be involved in any fights with her family next season and made it quite clear to her family."
