Young ballroom dancers D'Angelo & Amanda managed to barely make the top 12 in the semifinals after a less engaging dance routine. The pair will need to take their dancing to another level in order to stand out from the group.
Judge Howie Mandel predicted that Forte would likely win America's Got Talent and the opera trio is on their way to fulfilling that prediction. A frontrunner since their audition, the trio has sailed through the quarterfinals and the semifinals after passionate performances of classic songs and will likely continue to on Tuesday's show.
A young troupe of acrobats, Innovative Force has put a lot of effort into their routines and America has been impressed. They have advanced by America's vote alone and outlasted their primary acrobatic competition.
This country singer has been a frontrunner since the beginning of the competition and has continued to charm America with simple, heartfelt renditions of classic songs. His likability and backstory (coal miner turned soldier) have also contributed to his popularity.
Mandel has not been shy about putting all of his support behind Ebina, whose elaborate dancing/miming has impressed the judges as well as America. He may have to outdo himself if he wants a shot at winning the competition this year.
This comedic hand-balancing duo came back in a major way during last week's semifinal performance after one of them was injured. Judge Mel B has said she would take her family to see their show in Vegas and is supportive of them going forward.
Using both his jokes and his personality, Williamson has made the judges and America laugh enough to get him into the top 12. Judge Heidi Klum was not a fan of his style of humor at first but was eventually won over by him.
