Although the pair have yet to go public with their relationship, Bravo executive Andy Cohen is rumored to wed ex-NHL hockey player Sean Avery next year.

The FameDriven.com published an email they received from an anonymous source on Sept.2. The insider provided detailed information that alleged Cohen and Avery have been secretly dating for almost two years and will wed next year around their second anniversary.

The report included photos of the pair together and explained why Avery, who most recently played hockey for the New York Rangers, is not ready to go public with their relationship.

"Andy Cohen has been dating former NHL star Sean Avery for almost a year and a half now, it will be two years in March," the insider wrote. "And get this, they are secretly ENGAGED!"

The letter explained Avery has been hiding his true sexuality out of fear of the backlash he might receive from National Hockey League players. The source also claimed Avery previously dated actress Elisha Cuthbert in an attempt to cover up that he is gay. Avery is especially concerned with landing the title of the "first openly gay NHL player."

"Sean is openly gay/bisexual around close friends, but not to the public," the letter reads. The insider revealed the pair spent the Labor Day weekend together in South Hampton, shared their hotel room there and provided a photo of them together. In the picture, Cohen is lying back on a beach chair and Avery is leaning in towards the network executive.

When a blogger asked Cohen on Twitter if he was dating Avery, the network executive said to "ask Sean."

After some digging, Enstars discovered that Cohen has not been covering up this alleged relationship with Avery. On Jan. 30, he shared a black and white photo of Avery on Twitter with the caption, "My man @iamseanavery is GIVING IT."

On March 13, he revealed they went on vacation to celebrate their one-year anniversary.

"Celebrating our one year anniversary at #Ultra @imseanavery #GetawayDate." Cohen tweeted with the picture of them together sitting poolside at a lavish hotel.

Cohen's father, however, Louis Cohen debunked the reports. Louis told Radar Online the news of his son being engaged to Avery is "not accurate information."

Louis said he and his wife, Evelyn went to New York City recently to visit their son, and Andy told them he is not engaged.

"He is not engaged," Louis told Radar Online. "Andy told me all these rumors are floating around, but he said it's not true. I've never even met Sean. Andy's not dating anyone, to my knowledge. He's just so busy. Unless he's keeping something from me," Louis added. "But there really is no validity to [engagement] rumors."

Louis said he would like to see his son in a committed relationship.

"For his own benefit, I'd really like to see him end up with somebody. But that's not really my call!"

Cohen is the Executive Vice President for development and Talent at the Bravo network. He hosts the daily live night talk show, Watch What Happens Live and released a memoir, Most Talkative: Stories From The Front Line of Pop Culture last year.

Avery is a former Canadian professional hockey player. During his 12 year career with the National Hockey League, he played for the Detroit Red Wings, Los Angeles Kings, Dallas Stars and New York Rangers. He retired in 2012. He was widely known for his hobbies and interests off of the ice floor. His personal style and affinity for fashion helped him land an internship at VOGUE. He also modeled for many magazines and once opened a restaurant. Since his retirement, he began working at an advertising and creative agency in New York City.
