Drake Rihanna Back Together After Chris Brown Diss in 'Wu Tang Forever' New Song? [LISTEN]
Rumors have swirled that rapper Drake took to a new single off his third studio album, "Nothing Was The Same," to diss Chris Brown and express his love for Rihanna.
On the new track "Wu Tang Forever", the Canadian rapper, whose real name is Aubrey Drake Graham references the hip hop group while paying homage to them.
At one point, he seems to be taking a jab at Brown, insinuating that the singer is weak and fake, HollywoodLife.com reported.
"Just like the rush when you see your enemy somewhere in the club/ And you realize he just not in a position to reciprocate your energy/ You ain't ever worried cause he's not who he pretends to be, he says on the track.
Back in June 2012, Brown and Drake were involved in a brawl at W.i.P, a New York City nightclub.
In June, Drake told GQ magazine that he wishes he could be cordial with Brown.
"I hear he has everything he could want now," Drake said. "I don't want my name to be synonymous with that guy's name. I really don't. I wish we could sit down, just like you and me are right now, and talk it out man-to-man. But that's not going to happen."
Also, in the song, Drake references someone in his past, who many have speculated to be the Diamonds singer.
"I just love when I'm with you, yeah, this sh-- is on ten/ We used to be friends, girl, and even back then," he raps.
Later saying, "f you nervous, hit the lights, I know we only fucking out of spite/ Cause your man don't do you right, do you right, I could fuck you so good"
Enstars reported earlier that Drake and Rihanna were spotted on a romantic dinner date in New York City back in August during the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.
One spectator said Drake even kissed the singer on the cheek.
