Britney Spears' 'Work B****' Debuts Ahead of Scheduled Release: LISTEN [VIDEO]
Britney Spears released Work B**** after it was leaked online on Sept. 15, a day ahead of its scheduled release.
When Spears got news of the fact that her song had been leaked online, she expressed her disappointed via Twitter:
"Woke up today and saw that a low quality version of Work B**** had leaked :("
But the pop diva quickly took it in her stride and went back to building up some hype towards the premiere and got the song out on radio:
"The radio #WORKBxxCHPremiere is now happening at 3pm ET- tune in to your local station, @iHeartRadio,or @radiodotcom to hear the REAL THING!"
And after a few more tweets, she finally announced that song was available for a stream via Vevo:
"Work B**** RT @hannahspears #WORKBxxCH is now up on @VEVO!! :) I know what I'll be doing until 12:01am ET! https://smarturl.it/BritneyWBpv?IQid=tw ..."
The song starts with a pulsating electro groove with Spears busting her motivational rhyme: "You want a hot body?/You want a Bugatti? You want a Maserati? You better work bi***." As the beats catch pace and more sound samples layer-up into a track you could do a heavy work-out too, Spears launches into the refrain: "Bring it on/Bring the alarm/Don't stop now/Just be the champion/Work it hard/Like it's your profession."
Work B**** will be officially available on iTunes at 12:01 a.m. on Sept. 16.
This is the first song to be released off of her upcoming album, -- the release date for which hasnt been confirmed yet -- which will feature a slew of high-profile collaborators like Danja, will.i.am, William Orbit, Naughty Boy, Charli XCX, and Sia.
