After being knocked out of the top spot by the Arsenal side in the Premiere League, the Liverpool club will try to regain their foothold in its table when they face off against Swansea City on Monday.

A victory over Swansea would put the club back atop as the leader. However, Brendan Rodgers' squad will have its work cut out for them against their opposition at Liberty Stadium. Swansea is coming off an impressive 2-0 win against the likes of West Brom in an away game.

Interestingly enough, Rodgers will be returning to the very team that promoted him into the Premiere League, prior to exiting Swansea for Liverpool.

In the last game that the two clubs faced off, it was Liverpool that dominated by a margin of 5-0.

Neil Taylor will be the only player on the shelf for Swansea, but Liverpool will still be without its defender Kolo Toure.
