Justin Bieber created frenzy among Batman vs Superman fans when he posted on Instagram a photo of him with what looks to be a script of the 2015 film.

The 19-year-old uploaded on Sept. 13 an image of him looking in the mirror with a script in front of him from the Warner Bros. and DC Comics project. The top page had a "BIEBER" watermark across it and included official information about the film, including the screenwriter's and director's names.

Some who saw the photo declared that if Bieber should get a role in the film, which stars Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, the movie would be ruined. Some of the photo's comments include "Dear god no," "I was really excited to see this, but you just ruined it for me, thanks" and claims that the singer is "ruining the f--king movie."

Entertainment Weekly noted that the image was originally captioned "#robin ??" though the message was removed at time of publication. If Bieber does in fact get cast in the supporting role, he will follow in the footsteps of Chris O'Donnell. The actor played Robin in 1995's Batman Forever and two years later in Batman and Robin.

As the speculation continued over the weekend, a Sunday report claimed the photo may have been just a joke on Bieber's part. A person with knowledge of the real script assured TheWrap that the photo Bieber Instagrammed is not authentic.
