Miley Cyrus 'Wrecking Ball' No. 1 On Billboard, First Time For 'We Can't Stop' Singer [VIDEO]
A Miley Cyrus song has topped Billboard for the first time. Cyrus' Wrecking Ball pushed Katy Perry's Roar out of the top Hot 100 spot after two weeks.
The 20-year-old previously only managed to go No. 2 with her songs We Can't Stop and 2009's Party in the U.S.A.
"#1 on Billboard. #1 on iTunes. #1 on Spotify. #1 on Streaming. #1 on Digital songs. #1 most added to pop radio. #1 on VEVO. #WreckingBall," Cyrus tweeted on Wednesday.
New Albums Coming This Fall 2013
Earlier in September, Cyrus released the song's video, in which she's naked. In several scenes, she only wears boots as she swings from a hanging wrecking ball. She does, however, wear a white underwear and tank top in another shot. The short-haired singer also makes out with a sledgehammer and sits amongst debris in the provocative clip. The video already has almost 120 million views on YouTube.
"Don't you ever say I just walked away. I will always want you. I can't live a lie, running for my life. I will always want you," she sings as tears roll down her face.
Wrecking Ball will appear on Cyrus' upcoming album, BANGERZ, expected on Oct. 8.
Sean Garrett worked with Cyrus on the album and recently told EnStars that certain songs will focus on her "personal life."

"An album is like an artist's diary... she talks about her life and what it means to her," he said. "I can't wait for people to get the opportunity to hear it."
He continued, "People may think they know what her records were going to sound like, but this record is truly about her and felt natural for her. She had a vision and knew what she wanted."
