Season 5 of ABC's Castle closed out with Beckett (Stana Katic) facing two major decisions in terms of her relationship status as well as her career.

First she was offered the opportunity to work at her dream job with the FBI in Washington, D.C. and then she was proposed to by her boyfriend Castle (Nathan Fillion).

To make the situation even more sticky, the crime novelist popped the question just as Beckett was about the reveal her career news.

"If she takes the job in the nation's capital - and that's still a big if - I'll hazard a guess that she'll stay put for somewhere between two and five episodes," said Michael Ausiello of TVLine.

In other Castle happenings, actress Lisa Edelstein (Rachel McCord), who'll be on board for a three-episode story arc as Beckett's mentor, recently spoke about her character, who she describes as a very real.

"I really didn't want to do an arc on a show without really investing as much as I could in it, so I walked onto that show with a lot of ideas and wanting to create a real character - and Stana was psyched about that," she said.
