With Charlie Hunnam playing the billionaire, Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson donning the part of the shy, college graduate Anastasia Steele, the next two characters fans are most likely curious about Elliot Grey and Kate Cavanagh.

Elliot is the older brother of Christian, which most likely rules out most younger actors that E.L. James loyalists initially wanted to see land the Grey role.

According to The Hollywood Gossip, Thor's Chris Hemsworth, 30, has been rumored for the role, but me be too young and/or too well known for a supporting role. Nonetheless, he would serve to add some more star clout to the racy flick.

For the part of Steele's bestie Kate, the site speculated that Gossip Girl's Blake Lively could be an ideal fit with her gorgeous face, blonde locks and youthful appearance.

Fifty Shades screenwriter Kelly Marcel stated that she'd be staying true to the original content of James' books with lots of sex and raunchiness. The highly anticipated flick is scheduled to launch on the big screen on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2014.
