Celebrities sometimes come in pairs -- meaning they enter the business with a sibling or sometimes share the spotlight with others in their family.

Enstars compiled a list of some of the most famous celebrity siblings in music, movies and television.

Mary Kate, Ashley and Elizabeth Olson

The Olsen twins, Mary Kate and Ashley, grew up in the spotlight as child stars on the television series Full House from 1987-1995 and went on to star in numerous films and TV movies. They stepped away from acting and have a Dualstar production company and clothing lines called The Row and Olsenboye. Their younger sister Elizabeth launched her own film career with the indie movie Martha Marcy May Marlene, about a young girl who escapes from a cult. She also stars in the 2015 film The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The Olsens have an older brother, Trent.

Emily and Zooey Deschanel

The Deschanel sisters are both television and film stars. Zooey plays the lead character in Fox's New Girl, about a woman who moves into an apartment loft with three single men after experiencing a bad break-up. The show has been on the air since 2011 and before that, the actress starred in 500 Days of Summer, Our Idiot Brother, Yes Man, Failure to Launch, and other feature films. Her older sister, Emily, has a lead role in Fox's Bones since 2005. She previously starred in Super-Man 2, My Sister's Keeper and Cold Mountain.

Jessica and Ashlee Simpson

Ashlee Simpson started off as a backup dancer for her sister Jessica before beginning a music career of her own. Jessica released her first album, Sweet Kisses, in 1999 and married 98 Degrees frontman Nick Lachey, though they divorced in 2006. Ashlee was more grungier and than her sister, dying her hair black for some time upon the release of her solo album Autobiography in 2004.The Texas girls, four years apart, had their own reality shows on MTV. Jessica has two kids with fiance Eric Johnson, and Ashlee and former Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz divorced in early 2011. Together they have a son.

Owen, Andrew and Luke Wilson

Owen, Andrew and Luke Wilson have collaborated on comedies including Bottle Rocket in 1996 and The Wendell Baker Story in 2005. Andrew is the eldest brother. Owen starred in Wedding Crashers, Midnight in Paris, Marley and Me, Night at the Museum and the Cars franchise. Luke starred in Legally Blonde, Alex & Emma, Old School, 3:10 to Yuma and Anchorman. They younger brothers appeared together in The Royal Tenenbaums and Around the World in 80 Days.

John and Joan Cusack

The brother and sister, born in Illinois, have starred in numerous film together. In 2008, they both acted in War, Inc. -- which John co-wrote and produced. Together they also starred in the following: Class, Sixteen Candles, Grandview, U.S.A., Broadcast News, Say Anything..., Grosse Pointe Blank, Cradle Will Rock, High Fidelity and Martian Child.

Their siblings are Ann Cusack, Bill Cusack and Susie Cusack.

Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal

Younger brother Jake broke out on the big screen playing Billy Crystal's character's son in City Slickers in 1991, soon followed by Maggie in 1992 in Waterland, which their father directed. Maggie had a lead role in The Dark Knight and Jake got the same in Jarhead, Brothers, and Love and Other Drugs. Both are Oscar-nominated actors -- Maggie for Crazy Heart and Jake for Brokeback Mountain. The pair have acted in three movies together: A Dangerous Woman, Homegrown and Donnie Darko. They play siblings in the latter film.

Maggie is married to fellow Jarhead actor Peter Sarsgaard.

Casey and Ben Affleck

In 2007, younger brother Casey nabbed his first Oscar nomination for his role supporting Brad Pitt in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. With his brother they have appeared in Gone Baby Gone, Chasing Amy and Good Will Hunting. Casey is known by many for his roles in Ocean's Eleven and its two follow-up films in the franchise. Ben still acts - he stars alongside Justin Timberlake in 2013's Runner, Runner - but also has a production company with good friend Matt Damon.

Janet and Michael Jackson

The whole Jackson family -- nine siblings in total -- is well-known but brother and sister Janet and Michael may make the most headlines of them all. The King of Pop, known for hits such as Beat It, Dirty Diana and Bilie Jean -- died in June 2009, leaving behind three children. Michael performed as the lead singer of the Jackson family's popular Motown group, the Jackson 5.

Janet, the youngest in the Jackson family, released her self-titled debut album in 1982.

Kourtney, Khloe and Kim Kardashian + Kendall and Kylie Jenner

The Kardashian family's name made headlines with lawyer Robert Kardashian represented O.J. Simpson and then married Kris Houghton. The couple had four children together -- Kourtney in 1979, Kim in 1980, Khloe in 1984 and Robert Jr. in 1987. After Houghton and Kardashian divorced in 1990, she remarried Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner in 1991. Now the family, with the addition of the two daughters Kris and Bruce had together, star in the E! reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The three sisters also have a clothing chain called Dash. They have made a name for themselves as reality stars and socialites with the spin-off shows Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, Khloe and Lamar, and Kourtney and Kim Take New York. Kylie and Kendall were born to Bruce and Kris Jenner in 1995 and 1997.

Chris and Liam Hemsworth

Luke Hemsworth is the eldest of the three Aussie brothers. While he got fame following roles in a handful of television shows in his native country, Chris and Liam landed big-screen parts. Chris played George Kirk in 2009's Star Trek reboot and the title role in Thor. He reprised the role in 2012's The Avengers and will do so again in 2013's Thor 2: The Dark World. He acted opposite Twilight star Kristen Stewart in Snow White and the Huntsman.

Liam found fame in the Nicholas Sparks' movie The Last Song, acting opposite Miley Cyrus. The played on-screen lovers and off-screen they were engaged for over a year until they called off things in early September 2013. Liam starred in The Hunger Games, The Expendables 2 and Paranoia. He plays lead roles in 2014's Cut Bank and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Elle and Dakota Fanning

Dakota Fanning became famous as the young actress starring with Sean Penn in I Am Sam. She has since had major roles in The Runaways, War of the Worlds, Man on Fire and in The Twilight Saga series. Her younger sister, Elle, was also in I Am Sam. Since then, she starred in Phoebe in Wonderland and most recently in J.J. Abrams' Super 8. She will act alongside Angelina Jolie in 2014's Maleficent.

Kate and Rooney Mara

Kate launched her acting career in 1999 with Random Hearts. She went on to earn roles in Brokeback Mountain with Heath Ledger, The Shooter with Mark Wahlberg and 127 Hours with James Franco. Rooney, two years younger, was on-screen with her sister in the horror movie Urban Legend: Bloody Mary. The younger Mara took on small roles until landing a part in A Nightmare on Elm Street. She played Mark Zuckerberg's girlfriend in The Social Network and later took on the coveted role of Lisbeth Salander in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, a film adaptation of Steig Larsson's series.

They have an older brother named Daniel and younger brother named Conor. The Mara family owns the New York Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the actresses are also the great-granddaughters of the teams' founders Tim Mara (Giants) and Art Rooney (Steelers).
