However, the happy moment turns bitter when Drake gets a phone call from a man who lets him know that his girlfriend has been taken hostage. An angry Drake immediately rushes to rescue his girl along with his friends. Tons of gun shots later, Drake is reunited with his girlfriend, whom he passionately kisses after he saves her.
The upbeat love song appears on Drake's just released third album, Nothing Was The Same.
The rapper's third album will be the follow-up to 2011's Take Care. His sophomore record peaked at No. 1 on Billboard, as did his debut album Thank Me Later in 2010. Take Care also won the Grammy for Best Rap Album at the 2013 award show and sold more than a million copies in the U.S. alone.
"This is my f--cking moment to say if I wanted to rap all the time, really rap, I would, but I also love to make music," he told GQ in July about Nothing Was The Same. "I'll do this for you right now. But it's for me, too. It's my story... I'm trying to get back to that kid in the basement. To say what he has to say. And I'm trying to make it last."
