'Guardians of the Galaxy' Movie: Lee Pace's Ronan Costume Revealed, Chris Pratt Talks Filming
Filming for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is nearing the homestretch.
According to actor Chris Pratt, the production is over 83 percent complete. The Star-Lord took a moment out of his day to post a little superhero related math to his Twitter.
"As of today we are 83.1325301% finished with #GOTG 69/83=X/100 Rithmatic," Pratt told his followers.
The Marvel Phase Two film is moving along on schedule and as it does a slow trickle of spoilers have managed to leak out of the studios notorious cone of silence. With superheroes come super costumes, one of which will be adorning Lee Pace's Ronan.
"Can't believe I just got to look at official production still from guardians of the galaxy of Ronan and Nebula," wrote fashion photographer James Beddoes on his Instagram. "I can't describe how cool they look and how much it made my day...lee pace is going to be amazing as Ronan, he looks even cooler then Thanos did in avengers!"
However, viewers will still be able to distinguish the 34-year-old actor beneath the makeup.
"He has a lot of prosthetics on his forehead and chin but you can tell it's his face, his skin is a similar blue colour to mystique in the x-men films!" Beddoes wrote.
Guardians of the Galaxy is slated for release on Aug. 1, 2014.
