Patience was undoubtedly a virtue for fans of ABC's hit crime drama, Castle, as they had to wait it out for five years to see Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) finally fall in love and become engaged.

While audience can now breathe a sigh of relief that their two favorite characters will move forward with their commitments, the twosome will still be up against their fair share of obstacles.

Beckett has taken the job opportunity in the nation's capital while Castle stays behind in The Big Apple, which currently puts the couple in a long distance relationship.

Creator Andrew Marlowe recently spoke to TVLine about what lies ahead for Castle and Beckett as well as the focal point moving forward for the TV series.

"Even during a time when folks are separated geographically, it's still going to feel like the experience that they've always gotten. We're not interested in changing the overall DNA of the show, which is, you know, Castle and Beckett and solving cases and having all the other folks we know and love involved," he said.

ABC's Castle will be kicking off second episode of season 6 on Monday, September 30 at 10 p.m. EDT. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the popular TV series. A trailer for Dreamworld can be watched below.
